| A
modest scholarship fund was established
in order to give women who are
in the margins of the women's
movement the opportunity to participate
in the celebration and deliberations,
ten years since Beijing. They
too must experience networking
and advocacy at the international
levels. Heartening stories of
empowerment of women who benefited
from the 'Send a Sister to Beijing"
campaign show how women can flourish
given the right opportunity.
We
offer partial or full scholarship
depending on your need. Please
indicate what type of support
you are expecting from this
scholarship facility. If you
have the means to raise funds
to support part of your participation
costs, please do so. We would
like to have as many marginalized
women benefit as possible, and
you can help by tapping your
own fund sources.
|
|
| The
types of scholarships are: |
-
Waiver of registration fee
of US$100 (which covers the
conference kit and lunch and
two snacks, commute between

during the conference days).
- Waiver
of registration fee of US$100
plus subsidy of US$300 to
cover accommodation, dinner,
miscellaneous personal expenses,
travel tax, visa fee and airport
transfers.
